This is the make-up game of the Crosstown Classic postponement on June 16 and the last interleague game of 2009 except for the World Series. The rest of the regular season meetings are scheduled but I can always schedule a game that you want to suggest.

The next scheduled Cubs Meetup is Saturday, August 29. Our beloved Cubs will play against the lowly Mets at Wrigley Field. The Mets, like us, have seen injuries but they have a losing record. This is a nationally televised game where the country can see us kick some ass. I know it's been a disappointing season but come on out to support our team and meet other fans. Together, we can cheer on the Cubs to a win. We need some "W" and we'll be back on top!!!

The next scheduled Cubs Meetup is Saturday, August 1. Our beloved Cubs will play at Florida against one of the better minor league teams in MLB. Please bring in your pet moon rock, dress in a spacesuit, wear moon boots or something that shows American pride (think red, white and blue) for our first theme meetup, Apollo 40th Anniversary (First Man on the Moon). Let's be creative and have some fun participating in this! For others, it should be easy since red, white and blue are the same colors as our favorite team uniform. In other words, Proud American = being a Cubs fan. The game is early enough to share your love for the Cubs before enjoying the city’s nightlife. As always, we appreciate a reply.

We appreciate all the Cubs fans showing up for last Friday's meeting and rooting the Cubs to victory! This is a great start to the second half.
The next scheduled Cubs Meetup is Tuesday, July 21. Our beloved Cubs will play at Philadelphia against a very competitive team compared to WSH. Be out and proud! Show your Cubs pride by coming out of the woodwork so RSVP to let everyone know that you are an outed active member.
A themed meeting for the Houston or Florida series will be scheduled soon. The theme is Apollo 40th Anniversary (First Man on the Moon) so bring in your pet moon rock, dress in a spacesuit (This is NY!), wear your moon boots (Making it fashionable again?) or something that shows you are proud to be an American (think red, white and blue).
